Peter M. Fishbein
Peter M. Fishbein joined the firm in 1996 and became managing partner in 2000. In addition to overall management responsibility for the firm, Mr. Fishbein practices in the areas of labor, employment, municipal and corporate law. With respect to labor and employment, he handles arbitration and litigation as well as negotiating collective bargaining agreements on behalf of various municipal entities. In the area of municipal law, Mr. Fishbein represents special districts including fire and water districts. Mr. Fishbein works with clients in the area of corporate law, including business formation, and handles commercial litigation cases.
A member of the New York Bar Association, Mr. Fishbein is a featured speaker with the New York State Fire Districts Association. He is a member of the Suffolk County Village Officials Association, the American Bar Association, Ocean Beach Volunteer Fire Department, Garden City Centennial Soccer Association, and the Garden City Athletic Association. Mr. Fishbein is an active member of the Institutional Review Board of the Winthrop University Hospital.
Mr. Fishbein is admitted to practice in New York State and the United States District Court for the Eastern District. He is a cum laude graduate of St. John’s University School of Law.
